A Trip Down the A30...

... or to be more accurate, "above" the A30.  The A30 is the major route through central Cornwall, the most southwesterly of all all English Counties.

Having spent many wonderful holidays in Cornwall with my grandparents, I do have some great memories of the area.  It is a very historic and picturesque county, with some superb seaside resorts.  The county covers an area of 1,375 square miles, with a population of 536,000.  The major towns in Cornwall include Falmouth, Penzance, Newquay, St. Austell, and Truro.  The Cornish economy relies largely on tourism these days, but traditionally, fishing and tin mining were the major industries.

Here is a short video picturing the beauty of Cornwall from the air; hence the "above the A30" comment!

Enjoy!
