...the end of the footy seasons, that is!
As you will have seen, I am covering the Championship in most detail, as it is an absolutely enthralling end to the season.
The top four teams have been trading blows in recent weeks, and in fact, just tonight Norwich (who had won their last five matches) slipped up at home to Middlesbrough. 'Boro have now knocked Bournemouth off the top! Still, the Cherries have a game in hand, so we'll see what happens over the weekend... Most teams have three games left, and there are still no guarantees. At the other end, Blackpool are down, with Wigan and Millwall likely to follow.
The Premier League has longer to go, with leaders Chelsea having seven games left. The teams behind them all have six to play, and it's still going to be tight for the qualification for Europe. At the foot of the table, it is wide open also.
Bristol City have gained promotion from League One, and need just a point for the title. Yeovil are relegated, and it remains to be seen who drops down with them.
While not mathematically guaranteed, Burton are as good as promoted from League Two, but we don't know the other two who are going up. Tight at the bottom, with just two points separating the bottom three, but we are going to lose two of Hartlepool, Cheltenham, and Tranmere.
North of the border, Celtic appear to be heading for the PL title, while St. Mirren look to be favourites for relegation. The Saints will be replaced by Hearts, who have totally dominated the Championship this year. Livingston could go down, but neither Alloa nor Cowdenbeath are have secured their safety yet.
The League One title could be going to Forfar - or Stranraer - or perhaps Morton! Brechin City look good for the last playoff spot, but Stirling Albion are heading to League Two. They are probably going to give their spot to Albion Rovers.
So, I will be back on Monday with updates.
